Bangkok, oct 2011.
Back from Bangkok. I was commissioned to make a reportage for several french news mags, traveling from Singapore to Bangkok on board of the Mythical Oriental Express. It was awesome. I have loads of digital files to edit and like 20 rolls of portra and fujipro to scan. The trip was great. Lost almost all my CF cards at the begining, on the plane to Singapore, had to buy new ones at the first stop in Kuala Lumpur. Traveling on the train was an amazing experience, Personal cabin and steward, not to mention the open bar every night. Malaysian and Thai people are as beautiful as their landscapes are. Epic. I ate wonderful food on the train, met fantastic people from UK, US, mexico and Belgium. We have discovered the magical landscapes of the Cameron Highlands Tea Farms in Malaysia, the charming island of Penang. In Thailand, I rid an elephant and laughed with monkeys in a Monkey Training School (where the little dudes are trained to catch coconuts). I loved Thai Food as much as I loved Bangkok where my friend Michel Fonovitch (from A/R mag) and I had a one hour foot massage, before wandering for a couple of hours through the city, along the river. Back home
Croatia was awesome, hot and crowded with german tourists.
I wonder what will come out the editing, the trip was good but too much "touristic" for my personal tastes.

A/R Magazine issue#4 is out. It features a 26 images reportage I shot in Taïwan back in september 2010 and a mini-interview. It turned out that I also made the cover with that picture I shot one night in Taipei in the "Betel district".

I'm happy to announce that I'm leaving tomorow to Taiwan for a week, commissioned for french magazine A/R.
I feel very excited as it is my first time there and first assignment abroad !!
